ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:
Our room had someone burn curry in the kitchen and the whole room smelled like burnt shit basically. I complained the morning after we checked in and was told there were no more rooms since it was a holiday weekend. We understood. Fast forward to the last day of our stay, all we can smell is burnt curry, our clothes, my sons hair and stuffed animal, my expensive cooler bag, pretty much anything in the room for an extended period of time smelled. Open the door and the smell hit you like a wall. Luckily our clothes can be washed and there is no smell after returning home. I did receive a phone call from “the manager on duty” who wasn’t on the property for my to complain to in person. I was offered 10% off my stay, big deal! I hope the next person who has to stay in that room loves curry because the smell follows you home even a day after you’re gone.
OTHER SUGGESTIONS:
Make sure the room you’re renting to someone doesn’t smell like burnt curry and try to cover it up with open windows, a dehumidifier and fans. Actually clean the space or perhaps replace things that smell so someone else can stay in the room.
